FAQ
How do we choose a location?
After booking, we’ll use your questionnaire to recommend locations based on the scenery you’re drawn to, accessibility, group needs, seasonal conditions, weather, and the best available light.
How far in advance should we book?
Earlier is always helpful, especially for weekends, fall color, graduation season, and Sedona dates. Most portrait sessions can be requested up to 180 days in advance.
What happens if the weather looks bad?
Northern Arizona weather changes quickly. We watch conditions closely and make decisions based on safety, access, light, and what will create the best experience — not simply the weather-app icon.
When will we receive our photographs?
Most portrait galleries are delivered within 10–21 days depending on the session. Essential Session clients receive a proof gallery first and select their included photographs before final delivery.
Can pets be included?
Absolutely. Let us know about them in your questionnaire so we can consider location rules, temperament, mobility, and how best to include them.
What should we wear?
We’ll send preparation guidance before your session, but generally recommend clothing that feels like you, works comfortably with the location, and coordinates without becoming overly matched.
